Facebook Gaining Grounds Again!


According to Facebook Reports Second Quarter 2015 Results, nearly half of the world’s population internet users are using Facebook at least once in a month!


The repost says the number of Facebook users grew 13% monthly taking it to 1.49 billion in the three months to the end of June. These numbers of Facebook users are nearly half of total internet users around the world.


There are estimated 3 billion internet users worldwide, and 1.49 are very close to half. In addition, according to reports, 65 percent of these Facebook users use this social media on daily basis. Moreover, report also says that alone in United States, people are spending more than one out of every five minutes on Facebook on their Smartphones.


All these statistics are also telling us that total revenue of Facebook is also grown with no doubt. According the report posted on July 29, 2015, this rise in monthly traffic on Facebook has directly raised the revenue up 39% year-on-year to $4.04bn, in which the Mobile advertising revenue is the biggest factor.


Despite the fact many left Facebook in between 2013 to 2014, Facebook has gained traffic and managed to increase monthly revenue is appreciable. The introduction of ads on Facebook suggested video posts might also help Facebook get people attract towards it more precisely. Mr Zuckerberg is hoping more than this,


"3D content is the obvious next thing after video.


"Video will be huge, gaming will be huge. Once you start to get a critical mass we can get a social app which we are more specialised in," said Mr Zuckerberg.
